CWIS offers housing audit and survey services to include rent surveys to determine rental allowances for employees, contractors, or military service members. CWIS has completed rent survey work for the US Department of the Interior (DOI) to assist in determining rental allowance that included utility costs, waste water, and waste collection fees over a 22 state geographic area.
We can also conduct rent reasonableness surveys by researching and providing an analysis of comparable rental properties to a specified criteria to ensure rent being charged is ‘reasonable market rent’. In the past CWIS has provided this service to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) over a 31 state geographic area.
CWIS has performed military housing audits to assist in determining the accuracy of housing allowances, being paid to military service members and civilian contractors. We conduct interviews with municipal, county, and state economic agencies compiling raw data to be used by the US military. We analyze the economic and demographic area and compile the data to develop projections for area growth and decline as well as the potential for housing availability and the costs associated with single family properties.
